Unicode wasn't that big of an issue for me, I rarely listened to tracks that used any foreign characters.

Winamp's a great media player. I love the visualizers and the automatic playlist generator ("play songs like x") feature...

Also skins are great, I really like the new offical "Bento" style skin.

Although not being able to do certain stuff without buying (or pirating) the program is obnoxious. There's other programs for ripping and burning CDs, and converting file formats...

I'll give foobar2000 a spin though, see if it's all it's cracked up to be.

The unicode support thing is an issue with the winamp scrobbler, I think.

This is mine, somewhat depressing how much Depeche Mode I've apparently listened to. I downloaded the discography torrent off of TPB and so there's some 2500 unique songs of theirs included... I think I just had it run nonstop on accident while I wasn't around a couple days and ended up with far too much :/

I love female indie rock/pop (French / English), classics, general indie and some more experimental stuff.
Feel free to friend me or recommend some good underground bands that match my taste somewhat.

Amarok(1.4) is undoubtably the best music player I have ever had the pleasure of using.

May as well join the frenzy...

I don't tend to listen to music on last.fm, mostly I use it to find new artists to listen to.
