What about the BS they are saying for the "Always on internet connection". If it requires a continuous internet connection to play a game I dont think I will buy it.

News ... or rather rumors on Xbox 720 are springing up. Most are confirming for an April unveil. Are you excited to see what's inside the box? I wonder how they will fold out things.

Yeaaaaah... I wouldn't buy it anyways since I don't do consoles anymore, but if I did... I wouldn't bother with that.

I'd probably be too upset about not being able to use it when my internet goes out and stuff...

But yeah, the last console I got was the original Xbox and I only bought Halo 2 for it and played through it once, then pretty much never bothered with it again..... lol

Chances are someone will probably crack it though.

Report – Xbox 360 successor to be shown at E3 2012 with Timesplitters 4. Just don't fuck it up again Microsoft. And quit being dicks about gaming then I'll purchase your new console.

Report: Next-gen Xbox details at CES, hex-core CPU inside.

Xbox 720: Blu-ray inside, always-on netcon required. Confirmed information - not rumors. Release December of 2013.

Most of those rumors could be false. At least we won't know until they reveal it.

Yeah, the always on thing surely going to be dropped. I don't know about other people, but if everything my connection shat itself my game stopped I would simply not play those games. If they haven't mandated it yet for PC games, they won't for consoles.

Sony dropped it with the PS4. I doubt Microsoft's going to do something others have more or less declared stupid.

No one seems to be learning from Diablo or Sim City.

I'm not really against always online since I'm somewhat accustomed to it, but I heard there was not going to be anymore used games which is rather unacceptable in my opinion. :x

The only thing I can focus on concerning always-on is people complaining after exceeding the bandwidth caps.
I'm guessing it's not too much work to set a limiter on the console itself, although not like I know.

All you're hearing are rumors and nothing have been confirmed. Just wait till Microsoft unveils the console and then you can judge it.

Don't they realize they're practically committing suicide?

If they actually go through with this, I'd be very interested to see the sales numbers and compare them to the previous generations, or to their competitors who elect to be sane.

If the sales numbers will be greater than or equal to the 360 or the PS4, I'll be completely dumbfounded.

I think XBOX is going to be dead if PS4 goes the other way around. Just read this today.

XBOX not supported used games

its not going to use much bandwidth it would be like a leaky faucet. It just constantly drips so yes it would be using water but it isnt like the hose is left on
