For those that live in America and torrent from Bakabt here is what is coming July 1st from the major service providers.
I guess even torrenting non-licensed anime in America will get you in trouble now.  I am really getting tired of my country constantly trying to find ways to censor the internet for it's citizens.  I guess if the congress can't get a major bill passed they will try to find any way they can to nibble away the internet freedom for it's citizens.  I wonder what the government will try to get the service providers to do to monitor it's citizens next?

found another:
COICA

Perhaps if the author of these bills is silenced, it'll be quiet for a while. But still, I think there are people determined to sensor the internet one way or another. And if the internet is heavily censored, the isp's will certainly lose alot of people. There may even be a possibility of new underground off-line sharing groups. All I can say is, backup wtv you love, and prepare for the worst to come (-_-;)

All of this is such bullshit. Land of the free my ass. If it was the land of the free they wouldn't be trying to get us in trouble for something as small as torrenting anime.
