I'd like to subtitle the movie myself since it appears that there haven't been any updates for a while...if I have the script it'll make things easier for me

@SquishyJelly
Japanese subs from a TV broadcast are also available here:
http://kitsunekko.net/dirlist.php?dir=subtitles%2Fjapanese%2FFuture_War_198X_Nen%2F

Should help with translation checking the existing script.

Would it be okay if you could share it with me?

So unfortunately the script appears to be based off of the English subs from the Greek dub...

I'll be looking for anybody willing to translate the Japanese script to English so I can put them into the movie.

ahhh, you are still there :P
I thought this place was a ghost town.

i just uploaded a slightly modified version, in case you downloaded it already...You can check for your self, the quality is much better.

What needs to be done:

*I'll probably drop the credits.... too much work :P
*A translator, needs to have a look at it. Still, the quality is alredy almost native. I used the Japanese subs...
*Sync some lines. It's essentially the Japanese hard subs and signs, and some splits of lines.
*Copy edit the English.
*prettify and quality control.

You can help with the sync and English.
Are they people left in Boxsubs around here?
Or maybe you can suggest a group to finish it.

great :P
for now, what you should do.

1. Use the subs i uploaded just now.
THIS file
http://www.mediafire.com/download/z5eco58a88zlslb/Future_War_198X_beta.ass

(If a windows application can't use it, it's a UNIX end of file thing, just manually copy paste the content of the file in a new file....)

2. Use the new raw in the OP for the sync.
THIS file
http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=129387

It's not the same file as from ...3 years ago. and it's not the same with the one i used this time... The one currently in the OP is the best quality that is available on the internet You'll need to first fine sync the  already synced parts to the new file. The remaining lines should be done quickly...

3. To make it fully watchable, the translated Japanese signs and translator notes should also be made to look different, from each other, and the rest. If you could do that too, that would be great. I think, it can be done so that you could simply edit the style at a central location. I see relevant stuff in the ass file, but i don't know how to do it. (yea, i wasn't arsed to find out how to do this XD )
