wow, that was terrible. The first two trailer for Red and white were interesting, but then came black which was pretty meh, and now yellow whom is way to cheesy and contain terrible voice actor, that also managed to ruin the image of Red. I have simply lost all my interest in this series :(

I wonder if someone will switch the audio streams in the finished movie/series with the soundtrack on repeat, to mute all voice actors.

Oh and I was thinking there was no thread for this. Well, in any case. I really liked it, and never before seeing any work related to this, I am really liking it.

Sure, black trailer seemed disappointing, but I would say it's mostly because she probably has a black background. The other guy seems to be his foster brother or something and the way she says 'what about the crew' seems like she doesn't really like doing the work she has to do under her organization. Like a Yakuza family thing I guess.

Yellow, well, she is a blondie, she is supposed to be stupid and cheeky. And a bit of Super Saiyan feel to her. Well, I still like her. As for her she being red's sister, well, it could just be interesting.

As for voice acting, well, it's european, what you expect? You guys have gotten too used to anime's awesome voice acting. Didn't dubs teach you anything. >___<

Though the thing that's bugging me is the weapons they use. Almost everyone of them is using those swordXgun type of thing. That kinda thing is usually not easy to use and everyone just seems to use it as normal. What's with that. It would be better if that style was exclusive. And it suited Red (or Ruby) the best.

Well, I hate female japanese voice acting with few exceptions because they sound like chipmunks, but I didn't like this one either because it was bad. Voice itself is nothing to complain about, sounds normal.

Personally, Red's trailer was the best... And the background song seems soo familiar. I can't put my finger on where I've heard it before though...

And a bit of Super Saiyan feel to her. Well, I still like her. As for her she being red's sister, well, it could just be interesting.
Thought of the same thing when I saw yellow's trailer...

Edit:  the song at the beginning of red's trailer sounds weirdly similar to this one.... Just the beginning...

I for one LOVED the yellow. Not so much the trailer but the character. Her way of approaching the fight was great. Let's rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool! ;D

Just fun, fun, fun!

And her fighting style is great, really liked that.

Because we can!

Yellow isn't bad. Its not as good as the first two, but its better than which ever one came before it (the third one; really didn't like it). It would have been better without the Super Saiyan  bit, but the action and music were pretty good. White is still my favorite.

[edit] Actually, after rewatching Red, I think its better than the first.

For me white is definitely my favourite.

Most elegant. The rest were just killing a massive bunch of goons.

I like Red, followed closely by White.

Red for awesome fighting style and the way she reacts to everything. She is just too much for me. White, well, you know she is a ojou-sama. Of course, she is lovable. Though she will look down at you like the insect your are. ;D

If you listen to the songs, you will come to realize this is not the case. In fact she is likely the quiet, and kind one.

Code: [Select]
Red like roses fills my dreams and takes me to the place you rest
White is cold and always yearning, berdened by, a royal test
Black the beast decends from shadows
Yellow buety burns...gold

and in the next one (for which I can't remember the lyrics and don't care to look them up) it is talking about how lonely she is, and about her inner pain. She may be a yandere though.[/code]

So here's some recorded webcasts of the RWBY panels at RTX

Main RWBY Panel
This one was shown after the early screening so there might be some slight spoilers.

RWBY Tech Panel
You have to skip through the parts where they censored the episode 2 showing in the webcast

RWBY Art Panel
Near the end they censor the OP of RWBY

Anyways I never really gave that much thought about how much goes into the production of these kinds of series and it's pretty cool how they let the fans ask the people working on RWBY how all of this came together.  Looking forward to the web premiere on July 18th!

Cool action, lame characters. Meek girls with big guns killing stuff, yawn.

Sure, it's a sure-fire success! It hits the key points: Cute girls and guns.
