I LOVE this. Best series this season.
Voice acting is actually pretty good.

Well, I got it confirmed. I'm going to wait until the fan-made compilation of all the battles set to the soundtrack comes out.

Voice acting is actually pretty good.
You're very generous. Apart from the intro, they sounded as amateurish to my ears as they did in the trailers.

Maybe I'm being too harsh, it has a relatively low budget (as far as I know) after all.

They are amateurs as far as I know. That's why it's pretty good actually. Surprised me positively. I awaited the horror that was red in yellow trailer.

But the animation of red when she was in the interrogation room, so adorable!

So when I last posted I didn't really have time to nitpick some stuff in the episode.  First things first though, I feel that the voice acting is much better but still felt awkward at some points.  Especially during the fight scene where Ruby takes a hit and exaggerates a yelp.  Did anyone happen to recognize the beginning narrator?  It's weird how they were able to get some awesome VAs and then use inhouse employees to do the main characters.  One other thing that got to me is the news reporter... I know in one of the panel videos I posted Kerry said that they didn't want to spend time making assets for a character that'll only pop up once in the series for 20 secs or so but still... I'm pretty sure they have a baseline Poser model they can use and put a generic face on it...

On a positive note I'm really digging the music.  It could have been really bad.  I'm also pretty impressed by the opening.

If you go to RoosterTeeth's website you can view newer episodes before they hit YouTube. They are starting to pick up the pace and it looks like the next episode we'll finally see some action. I like this series, and if it gets big, maybe they can make it into a full fledged 20 minute episode a week series. That'd be awesome.

In fact this is the kind of stuff in the same category as the flash movies on Newgrounds. If anything it is some of the best animation among it's class (amateur production).

I only watched the trailers, and my opinion is that everything after red trailer is shit.

What are they doing with this web series now? is it worth my time?

the soundtrack is good, as is red's scythe. not really much happening with 5 minute episodes.

12 min episodes means you wont waste much of your time anyway. It depends on how busy you are.

So where exactly can I download this series. Net ain't fast enough for me to stream, so I prefer if I get a nice torrent. And how many episodes are out and how many will be there? Are they coming out weekly?

Yes to your last question.

As for your question before that: 9 and 16 for this season. More seasons are planned. You could always download the youtube vids as a last resort, but they are release one week after the original airing.
