Long story short I've moved all my torrent from my computer to my harddrive and now i can't seed, they concted and check the data but then the just sit there

Now... I am not exactly what you call a techie, but wasn't your hard drive inside your computer at the time? :unsure:

If you rechecked your data in torrent application and was 100% there then it says "seed" on the damn thing, then it should be ok...
It just sits there if there are not seeds to connect to your device, may it be a computer or just a hard drive (external I suppose). should recheck it every now and then, just to be on the safe side.

I assume you moved the downloaded files from an internal Hard Drive, to an external?
I also assume you use a torrent program of some description?
I'm gonna assume you told that client where you moved them to?
And you used the rehash feature?

Did you press "start" once the hashing was completed?
