Asking for a friend again.

Any good suggestions for good portable speakers that has good bass? (bass is probably a given if it's 'good' right?)

Price range is below £100.

JBL's are pretty good. Bose if you can afford them since they are top of the line. No idea about the price :(

Bose is not good for their price, with a limited budget Bose would be off his list.

i was going to mention Marshall Major's Kilburn Portables before.
but with the same reason, it would've been way above your budget.

^ That is why I did mention 'if you can afford'. Usually they suck in the mid range, but once your budget enter's the expensive category they do give what they charge.

In any case, Logitech (their UE branding) are pretty good as well, especially considering the price. That or JBL would be the choice for me.

Might as well just buy Samsung now

I've got the Sylvania SP262 bluetooth speaker and it works very well.  Mine was twenty bucks a year or two ago, I think they're closer to 15 now.

I have a Soundbot SB520. It has a really nice, clear sound with good bass. I've never used it very loudly before, but it has sounded great at the levels I play it at, which is loud enough to hear throughout my garage sized apartment. It's about 30 USD.

While I was in New Zealand, a friend had a little bluetooth speaker the size of a lunch box.
It had two 3" speakers and was VERY loud with clear bass. It apparently cost $60NZD but I forgot to ask what brand it was.
If I ever find out, I'll post it, as I was seriously impressed by this thing. It came with a built in rechargeable battery that plugged in via a PS3 cable (USB B?) and lasted something like 6 hours
