AvsPmod
« on: December 11, 2016, 02:18:14 am »
I'm getting an error "Codec not found". AniDB says that the codec is h.264 but MediaInfo says HEVC.

I need an h.265/HEVC codec for AvsPmod. Also, a guide to installing it and the script of there's any changes to what the Wiki says.

Also, how do I extract pgs subs and use it for AvsPmod?

If I'm not mistaken following the guide on the wiki with the "updated" version of ffms2 listed for HEVC it should work, provided your ffmpeg is up to date.

Mind you, I'm not really sure about any of this. I don't even dare touch my current setup anymore for fear of breaking it, but it works with h265 more or less

For PGS subs: http://avisynth.nl/index.php/External_filters#Subtitling
SupTitle or SUPtext should do the job. You'll probably have to replace TextSub(subfile) with the new function, wherever it is called in the script.
