Downloading a website from WayBack Machine
« on: January 08, 2017, 11:09:46 am »
So there was a website with short stories (First main page with list of stores - around 500- and if you click on it, it will go to that story) that went out, but wayback machine seems to have archived it. Now is there a way to download the entire contents of the website?

I came across some WayBack Machine downloader and it required Ruby 1.9.2 to get it. I checked out Ruby and felt pretty dumb. I have no clue what this is.

I am willing to try if I can get a bit of help understanding in what exactly I am supposed to be doing to get the website.

Homu-Homu is troubled

you probbly have to make calls to an api to download and they are using the programming language ruby to do it. its like python or bash just another flavor. There is plenty of youtube videos to teach you  the basics of ruby
