Trinity Blood
theatrical, sinister classical, choir, and modern sentimental songs.
OST

Black Cat
more of the same, if you liked the Trinity Blood ost
OST

Gankutsuou
classical, electronic, folk, metal.  umm, ever heard opera played over a techno beat?
OST
Classical Compilation

Paradise Kiss
electronic, ambient, pop, pop-rock, j-punk.  2nd disk sounds like a drama album with a live set by Arashi's band that is hinted at in the anime series.  except, apparently, Shunsuke Mizutani, the voice of Arashi, really does sing for this group.  put this on then go read the Parakiss manga. good times.

No real set genre perse, but there are a lot of modern sounding instrumentals, and a bunch of great vocals with them. Can't really go wrong with this soundtrack.

Final Fantasy - The Black Mages
The music of this CD is "battle music" suitable when you want full-length lively room-filling music. Unlike many other Squaresoft releases featuring sequenced piano, this one is full of energetic electric guitars and synthesizers.  Catalog Number: SSCX-10080, Playtime: 51:23, Rated 5 stars on the obsolete 5-star rating system.

Samurai Champloo
heavy beats that are hip hop/rap derived. all the cool beats and rhythms without the crappy lyrics. intro song has lyrics, but it's a pretty sweet rap. and thats coming from someone who normally hates rap. also some good calm songs in there too. araurian dance is one of my favorites. this is all great driving music if you have a nice sound system in your car (aka a decent sub).
