does anyone know the OP from Naruto (not shippuuden) with flashbacks of Naruto's, gaara's, ino's, sakura's, and the rest of the gang's past (when they were kids)?

i hear a japanese word "mo i kai!" or something. it's the best naruto OP by far, imo.

Snorkel - Nami Kaze Satellite (Op #7)
Sambomaster - Seishun Kyousoukyoku (OP #?)

I don't have any Naruto episodes on my computer any more, but I think you might be referring to one of these two songs (thought I heard "Mo I Kai"). I'm leaning more towards the second one.

Not really. They only allow up to about 192kb/s bit rates.

Just convert the file into a higher bitrate for no apparent reason.

Can anyone tell me where to find the music played in the English dub of Zoids New Century Zero that is played when the Liger Zero is changing its armor? I have been on Google for like 12 hours and cannot find it.

Hey,

I'm looking for the name of track/artist who sings a song in Macross Frontier Episode 5.  It starts right at about 18 minutes in.  Gendou doesn't list the song, and I have been messing around for about an hour trying to find out who it is.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

EDIT - So I found out who sings the song.  Yoko Kanno now I just need to find the song somewhere.  It's titled "What 'bout my star"

EDIT EDIT - No luck with the song.  There is going to be a Macross Frontier OST released on 06.08.2008 that will have the full version.  I'm probably going to have to bide my time until I get my hands on it.

That's a remix of Dr. Wily Stage 1 music from Rockman 2. It seems okkusenman.com is no more so just search YouTube/Google for okkusenman or おっくせんまん. I think the remix was made by Family CoMcert (according to the credits in the second flash below) and the vocals are probably by ゴム (since it's called Version ゴム).

I think this is the best video with that music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yATI48dcsMU
That video and the lyrics always make me shiver and almost cry.

The original flash has a more suitable ("softer") version of the song/vocals but no English subtitles http://swfchan.com/1/4477/

I don't know where to get any version of that song in mp3 though and I'm getting derailed anyway...
Nope, there's still nothing here.

Yoko Kanno doesn't sing, she composes ;)

Singer is listed as "Sheryl Nome", I think it's probably done by her VA, Aya Endo, then.

The OST and Singles are already up for download from Box, actually...

Looking for the name of the song towards the end of Clannad After Story Ep2, from about 18:45 to I guess 22:15.  Not too good with genres but it has a folk-like sound to it.  If anyone happens to know or could point me to a trail for figuring it out, I'd appreciate it. :)

I cannot find this damn song from Heat Guy J anywhere, it has several versions, making it's debut in episode 8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLrelzGZLew it's the first thing you hear on that episode. They play it with piano later.  I've downloaded the OST and it's not on there.  it also starts here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdbO2NvbwRU at just after 3 minutes with a piano version, which I like more.

Ok, so as part of the AJATT (All Japanese All the Time) language learning program, I have to immerse myself in as much Japanese content as possible while also abandoning as much English content as possible (it even had me switch my OS's language setting to 日本語). Part of that, obviously, would be my music; while I already listen to a fair amount of Japanese music (~180 songs in my library) I need a lot more - enough to be able to loop it many, many times without getting tired and bored of what I'm listening to.

So basically, I need some Japanese music recommendations.

Some of the Japanese songs I've heard and liked include:

Come (Inuyasha Ending) - 安室奈美恵
Rewrite (FMA Ending) - Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Inner Universe (GiTS: SAC opening) - Origa
Rise (GiTS: SAC 2nd GiG opening) - Origa
A number of the Eureka 7 OPs/EDs
Sore Ga Ai Deshou (FMP: Fumoffu! opening) - 下川みくに
Kimi Ni Fuku Kaze (FMP: Fumoffu! ending) - 下川みくに
モザイクカケラ (Code Geass ending) - SunSet Swish
O2 (Code Geass R2 opening) - Orange Range
World End (Code Geass R2 opening) - FLOW
Rolling Star (Bleach opening) - YUI
After Dark (Bleach opening) - Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Hitohira no Hanabira (Bleach ending) - Stereopony
Colors of the Heart (Blood+ opening) - UVERworld
God Knows (Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi insert) - Hirano Aya
Face of Fact (LAMENT Version) - KOTOKO
Idea (Noein opening) - eufonious
Sora Iro Days (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann opening) - Nakagawa Shouko
Megumeru ~cuckool mix 2007~ (Clannad opening) - eufonious
Last Regrets (Kanon 2006 opening) - Lia
風の辿り着く場所 (Kanon 2006 ending) - Lia
Toki wo Kizamu Uta (Clannad ~After Story~ opening) - Lia
Tori no Uta (AIR TV opening) - Lia
Over Night (Le Chevalier D'eon opening) - aya
Hitori no Yoru (Great Teacher Onizuka opening) - Porno Graffiti

As for non-Japanse music, I think the bands following are cool:

The Alan Parsons Project
Collective Soul (their old stuff, not the shitty new album)
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Fleetwood Mac
Foo Fighters
Gerry Rafferty
(Some) Green Day
Linkin Park
Matchbox Twenty
Michelle Branch
The Moody Blues
Pink Floyd
Rare Bird
Santana
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers

Any suggestions?

I'd like an ID on the lead vocals for the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei OP and ED. I have a feeling it's Yuu Kobayashi, judging from the strength of her voice, but I'm not sure, so can anyone confirm this?

PS I love the themes used, all-around great intro and ending to every ep.
