Title: Trying to make AMVs

Hi,
I'm kinda new to forums...but i needed help and i have been using this site lately thought someone here might be able to help. I'm trying to make some amv but my movie maker(window movie maker) wont run avi or mkv files. does anyone know wat program i could use. cuz i would really like to make these amv, 5 days of downloading 220 episodes of naruto, 26 episodes of aquarion, and 30 episodes of other random anime just to find out i cant use them... :'(

First of all... windows movie maker is a pretty crap program. Use Iso Hunt to find something like vegas6 or adobe premier. Then research on em to see what kinda file types they use and if they work, then good, if not, then find a converter. Google is your best friend on the internet.

If you use windows movie maker save your project everytime you change something

Yea, I hear movie maker crashes a lot. and I mean a LOT.

And yea... make sure subtitles aren't in there... really, nothing's worse than watching and amv and then suddenly reading a line from the show from out of nowhere.

that doesnt leave a huge watermark in the middle of the screen
