Sooo.. When the first trailers were shown I was like...
What a BS... Looks meh.
Wasn't intrested at all....
I downloaded the demo because I was bored...
And instantly Loved it !
Bought the game and it's just awsome =P
Anyone else having the game? :O
And anyone wanting to play it online and co-op etc with me.. I'm on the Xbox =P
Anyhow.. As well what do you guys think of this game?
Imo it's the best of all the transformer games.

it's unfortunate that the vehicle modes are more or less completely useless - in 90% of the cases you are better off to just walk and shoot - and in the remaining 10% the ride is either to slow (hover mode) or to fast to properly react to situations.
the enemies are dumb as bread, from time to time just standing around doing nothing, and your companions aren't much better - it actually happened twice that they shoved me of a cliff by turning into vehicle mode.
the gameplay is relatively weak, shooting guys, pressing a button, rinse repeat. weapons are to similar (except for starscreams weapon set, it just rocks, seriously overpowered) and the surroundings are only alterable in minor points - they could have saved themselves the PhysiX engine.
From a PC PoV the graphic is mediocre at best, the controls are a bit sluggish and the difficulty level is to low (not necessarily in the health/mobs department but in demanding a bit more than shooting in the general direction to insta-kill a mob).

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TOO FAST!!!! Murakumo and quantum redshift prove this beyond all doubt :P

i think it's interesting to note that both games where financial disasters - they just didn't sell. :P
in addition to that it's not the speed that is the issue but what you can do while driving/flying at it. the armament in vehicle mode is to weak to destroy the enemies you speed by - so you can either leave vehicle mode and shoot the "bad guys" or ram into the next door and wait for them there because the door won't open before you defeat them...

U have to run away and engage enemy in vehicle mode and finish in Robot mode.. However a soldier can easily stay in vehicle mode... As well when being in Jet form u can snot down others in vehicle form quite easily....
Gameplay is weak= Shooting guys, pressing button rinse and repeat?
You know it's a 3rd person shooter right? O.o
As this game is highly comparable with UT... UT was like that as well.. Yet a major HIT!
Don't compare it with CoD and GoW.. Since that has covers and is more tactical then this game..
I find it more like UT myself.
As for the campaign.. I did it on Hard only co-op so I dunno how the normal mode is and how the AI reacts =P
Further imo this is more an online game then offline.

I like it as well. Especially transforming to my robot form when I've just jump off a ramp like in the movies. Awesome feeling. ;D
High Moon Studios did Dark of the Moon as well though I doubt it's very good. It's a tie-in-movie game whereas I feel War for Cybertron has gotten more time to be polished. Personally looking forward to the sequel.
It's a console port though so there's only so much you can tweak in the settings. V-sync, resolution, texture quality and fullscreen are the only settings you can tweak in the video section.
