Seems I need some recommendations again, please help me ^_^

I'm looking for animes that are similar to the following:
- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Kai/Rei)
- Umineko no Naku Koro ni
- Noien

AniDB did give me some similar titles, but I'm not sure...
AniDB gave:
- Ookami Kakushi (already seen, was ok I guess)
- Fantastic Children (is it any good?)
- Dennou Coil (is it any good?)

Fantastic children is pretty good imo. I like the opening song too :s Its like some anthem

Both Fantastic Children and Dennou Coil are very good animes, but not really similar to what you're looking for.

Denpa Teki na Kanojo you might like. Maybe Bokurano.

Also, I know it's a bit overrated and over-recommended, but I think Elfen Lied might also fit.

I'll throw Boogiepop Phantom out there as being similar to Higurashi.  Its story doesn't run in a typical linear fashion, it deals with supernatural, murders, school kids etc.

While Dennou Coil isn't bad it might have a small amount in common with Noein and almost nothing in common with the When they Cry stuff.  Fantastic Children probably has nothing in common with either, and I didn't care for the show at all.  The reaction shots every 5 seconds in the last few episodes made it almost unwatchable for me, although that's not my only beef with it.

Also agree that Dennou Coil has some similarities with Noein if you stretch it far.

Dennou Coil wasnt really like Higurashi. . .it has some sort of yuri thing going on there but it wasnt violent at all. . .it only has this mystery to it (like higurashi) but if you're looking for the gorey stuff then yeah Elfen lied. . .amm HOTD Blu rays . . .ammm maybe pet shop of horrors . . .dont recall if it was gorey at all
