How long were your longest anime marathons?40-50 episodes of one anime in a day.
What anime did you watch? One Piece, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, DBGT, Fairy Tail, Rave, KH Reborn!
Did you also feel as good as I did when it was over?I got enough sleep, I ate homemade lunches, chocolates and drinks in my mini-fridge -- I guess I felt good.
I've marathoned my to-watch folder a few times before. A 1-cour series in the morning, a 1-cour in the day, and a 1-cour at night. That's around 40 eps. I do this any time I build up enough. Sometimes it will be a combo of a 2-cour and a 1-cour, and maybe even a few movies.
I generally do take a dinner break, and intermittent snack refills.(click to show/hide)
Not to be judgemental, but some of you guys are nuts. How do you watch that much stuff in one sitting and remember any of it? How can you stand to do one thing for that long without getting stir crazy, or your eyes getting too tired? It's gotta be a young person's game. Even when I was in my mid 20s and all I was doing was working and living at my parents' place, I spent no more than 2-3 hours a night on anime.I'm like you. I've tried watching more, but I get bored of watching anything for too long.
In recent memory, a few years ago I think I watched at most maybe 12 or 16 episodes of something with my roommate. Normally, though, if I'm watching stuff with my roommate, it's 4 to 6 eps maybe once a week. And a few times a week, by myself I'll watch like 1 or 2 episodes of something before I go to sleep.

And yeh, i am nuts.
Now I consider watching 5-6 episodes in a row a "marathon".

That's about where I'm at. When I've seen that much in one sitting, I feel like I've actually made a dent in my "Watching" list.

Yeah, I am weird (as I stated in the opening comment) ^.^Not in any way; I also get totally immersed in the best series and would like to go on for ever (Shana, Inuyasha, and Kenshin come to mind), but have learnt that the price to pay later for skipping sleep and other stuff is just too big... ;D

If you have problems sitting and paying attention to one thing for long hours it's not that we're "nuts" but moreso that you have ADD/ADHD to some varying degree.
I don't have trouble remembering though. I have a superb memory.

I watched Death Note in one go when I was 15. Besides that not much.
