Since this seemed to be the forum best off for requesting things, I figured it was the best place to post this.
I am looking for a website or blog that specialize in announcing when ever a fansub group has completed a series. I don't bother with watching an anime series these days until it is %100 subbed. However there is no agreed upon word structure (like using "batch" in the name) used in marking batch torrent so it is impossible to find them all through just searches.

Best bet is probably AniDB (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=main) or any of the other similar sites. Failing one of the database sites that keeps sub group info on hand, you're stuck with the group websites and IRC channels.

Does anidb have a page though with that information other then visiting the specific anime page? I generally don't find out about the anime until I come across its batch so I need a listing where searching by anime name is not needed.

You can search for sub groups. Every group generally has their own page which lists their releases by date. Though when you search, I think you have to use the full group name. The abbreviated tags don't usually work so well.

At first I thought this would be better then nothing, but then I remembered how many times I wen't to anidb to see sub group comments on a finished series only to find them not listed under the anime. So I guess animedb really wouldn't be a good source all together.

I'm not really sure what you mean, but most currently active groups seem to have their list updated with decent frequency. You could also use Baka-Updates (http://www.baka-updates.com/releases)

Well usually I am looking for info from the many subgroups who use cr scripts, so not really surprised not every one of those update their stuff on anidb. baka updates looks very workable however. It looks like I can easily scan it for batches and final episodes signifying a soon-to-be batch. Thanks.

With AniDB, you can use their "Notification Type - Complete" option, and that should create a message (visible whenever you visit any page on the site) when any group completes the series.
