Title: Sunrise Animes in 90s suggentions & need ID
Post by: taebog on July 22, 2013, 04:38:18 PM
Big fan of the 90s animes. Need a few suggestions I'd like based on the ones I previously watched. My favorites include: Cowboy bebop, outlaw star, trigun, GTO, cooking master boy, berserk, neon evangelion, slam dunk

Any great animes I've missed? I prefer the usual 26 episodes or so that's very enjoyable to watch, be it comedy/action as long as it is for the male viewers.

Also need ID on this anime:

The #5 "Shows with a sense of Humor" picture. It has 1995 sunrise on it. What anime is that?

I see. When I looked it up it said 1996 that's why I wasn't sure. Thanks!

Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team

Great show btw, I'd recommend it. (very little Gundam knowledge required to enjoy it also)
As for other 90s shows(I'm too lazy to make sure they're all Sunrise)
Birdy the Mighty (OVA, TV series is from 2000s)
Blue Seed
Devil Lady
Master Keaton
Nightwalker
Patlabor (starts in late 80s but has more of a 90s feel)
Petshop of Horrors
Serial Experiments Lain
Shadow Skill
Silent Mobius
You're Under Arrest!

I'll second Escaflowne and Tylor
