Description: The story follows these seven girls who aspire to star in the so-called "idol sengoku jidai" (idol warring states period) of modern day. The Green Leaves Entertainment is a tiny production company on the verge of going out of business in Sendai, the biggest city in Japan's northeastern Tohoku region. The agency once managed the careers of magicians, photo idols, fortune-tellers, and other entertainers, but its last remaining client finally quit. In danger of having zero talent (literally), the president Tange hatches an idea of producing an idol group. On the brash president's orders, the dissatisfied manager Matsuda heads out to scout raw talent. Matsuda makes a fateful encounter with a certain girl….

I can guarantee one thing. This will Not be a fuck up. Yutaka Yamamoto, director of Kannagi, Lucky Star and Fractale is working on it. Oh, do watch the video. There's a really nice cliff-hanger 1 second scene. Pretty awesome. For those who can read Japanese, check out the Official page and look over its content.

anyways, I watched the movie and DLing ep. 1, the movie was ok, Im hoping the anime starts where the movie left off, but it seems good. Very similar to Love Live!

The songs were good, and used in moderation. Character development was good, but uneven, as is expected with 7 main characters plus 3 supporting ones.

High hopes for a second season!

Yea, this was different than Love Live and Idolmaster. I like Idolmaster a lot. I don't remember it well. But this show has better emotions on the characters and the struggle is pretty screwed up. It feels more real-life than the cheesy parts in Love Live. My beef with Wake-Up, Girls! is that they didn't put enough songs and animation scenes that I really wanted. The ending of the movie was damn good and I so, so so love the animation on that one. Not only that, but the whole scene and how the plot led all the way up to that was really good.

Commie's the only non-Horrible that Nyaa's ranked Green, may as well use them for the 720p.

We never host Horrible's 1080p TVs right?

I might go with Toki too though, mostly because they actually have a batch up, plus did a 1080p of the 7 idols BD that launched the ship.
