Hmm, the E-D release was replaced with the current Anime-MX release so I never bothered to look.
But I guess that was before the stringent comparison regime we have now...  ;)

Maybe Zalis will chip in here, he was the original uploader and usually knows his stufff...  :P

The E-D looks stretched out of proportion to me, ie wrong AR.

Edit: I suppose it could be their starship is near a black hole and that guys head is being subjected to spagettification...  :whistle:

my bad I think it's because of my player config

Edit: fixed

E-D looks better in all of the pics. It retains more details especially in pic 2 and 3.

E-D looks better, but it's overcropped  :(

It was awhile ago, before extensive comparisons were the order of the day. I do remember that part of the reason for the changeout was to placate commenters who had issues with E-D's release being vobsub-only.

I'd say so; I do recall one shower scene (ep 3 or so?) leading people to think that the MX version was censored.
