Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get my ratio back to normal as my current ratio is about 0.086 which I think means that I can't download at the moment, and I want to improve things but I don't know how to do so.

As Boz said, give the Wiki (http://wiki.bakabt.me/index.php/Main_Page) a read (More specifically, the Fixing Your Ratio (http://wiki.bakabt.me/index.php/For_First_Timers#Fixing_Your_Ratio) Section), but there's also a fair number of torrents that are available for Freeleeching.
Meaning you can download the torrent (No matter the size) without having a negative impact on your ratio. And to top it off, you can keep seeding the Freeleech torrent and improve your ratio from it! (Sweet, huh? :) )
Here's a Random Example (http://bakabt.me/177919-koisuru-teddy-boy-beloved-teddy-bear.html) of a Freeleech torrent. You can tell it's available for it if you see a Green F ([F]) next to the title when you're browsing (http://bakabt.me/browse.php), and also under the sample images, next to your Ratio After Downloading.
For example, for me it would say "Ratio After Downloading: 0.121 (Freeleech!)"
Anyway, hope this helped you out for improving your ratio! ;D

No, it means you seeded 0.086 times the amount you've leeched. You're not warned yet so you can still download, but it's recommended that you avoid letting that drop any further.
Note that you can't download anything, including Freeleech, when warned.
