quite a horrible mess... you need to rewire that thing! >:(

Agree, rewire it especially if you have a modular power supply.

AX1200 is modular

edit: although now that i think about it, 1200watts is too overkill, even with a hexacore i7 and two GTX690 it would hardly reach 1200watts =(
its kind of irritating to see stuff thats too outside of purpose...

Believe me, I tried. But sadly I'm no good at wire management :(

I have so many other connections that I use up almost all of the connectors on my PSU.

Also, that PSU is there to stay for a LONG time. 7 years of warranty is awesome. You do know that with age, PSUs tend to lose their power capacity right? Basically, this PSU is there to handle multiple configuration changes.

Also, there is no reason to buy a PSU that is just enough for a pair of 580s and a 560 Ti. I checked my power draw- it is almost 1000W according to my UPS. And I also overclock my system. The processor is an i7 960 clocked at 4.14Ghz.

I did consult with a few friends before choosing this over an HX1050 :)

Fuck yeah, panoramas!
