Desktop PC in 2006(p4 1.7 willamette):
**yes it's an airfilter ......i stuck two fan at the other end of the airfilter..... it made a whistling like noise ...
**air flow was not great but it was really easy to clean. oh yeah i use a mounting bracket
from a sr20de engine and drill holes for it on the side panel of the case.
ie: case > mounting bracket > air filter
Desktop PC in 2008(core 2 duo e6300):
**got rid of the air filter because of the annoying noise....
**replace it with custom disc brakes replica with mesh filter in the middle
**annoying to clean because i need to remove the brakes(2 screws) to get to air filter,
as compare to the air filter which only has a hose clamp with 1 screw
Fileserver(2.4ghz p4 northwood) :
**i strip the original dark gray coating and respray it with gloss black(car paint)
Media center setup(dual core e2140):
**missing asus dvd burner drive and tv tuner because it has not arrive yet
**just finish building the media center. testing the video performance with some best motoring videos
Shape Box + dedicated firewall (celeron 633):
**Ugly biege ibm 6266 stock, minus cdrom. running ipcop
**yes i know it's dusty been there for 4-5 years
Web server test box (p3 733 coppermine):
**another ugly beige case .... it's a hp netserver e800
**almost forgot i had an old g3 >.< ......yes i am neglecting mac

not enuf?? ... added picture for shape box and test webby (i try to get a new pc every 2-3 years minus case, because i got too much case and worst come to worst i can give it a new coat of paint and mod it a little).
was going to get another desktop but .....spend it on a ski trip :P
oh yeah i will not be around end of july to 1st week of august *cross finger and hope boxtorrents.com does not go down*
