All the hassle to have 88 degrees on the CPU... wunderbar. And it isn't even overclocked.

Yeah, 10 gallons of hot mineral oil, that's fun to clean up.

The OLD setup.  I need to find my camera for the pic of the new setup and get those slave drives into my case.

It's acutally a 17" LCD.  And yes, it's my old setup.  I gotta unplug and move my case around to get it out of the middle of my floor.  >_<  And get my Xbox 360 plugged back up.  Pics coming in about 20-30 mins of the new setup.

-a couple hours later and after posting in the wrong thread-

My case is a disaster.  I haven't gotten the slave drive in yet.  I can't find my tools to pry out my dead PCs HDDs.  The parts I want aren't in stock at the local geek store.  And they give me odd looks when I tell them I want a liquid nitro cooling system.  They asked me if I was building rockets.  Weirdos.

I need more shelf space.  That used to be my bookshelf.  And in those boxes on top is about 5tbs of anime.  I have 70gbs more on my HDD that I need to push off onto data dvds.  My poor 180gb HDD is getting full and I really need to add that 120gb HDD soon.

Oh and the keyboard sits in my lap.  I need a wireless mouse though.  The wired one gets on  my nerves.

Pure water is non conductive and would be less messy than mineral oil but it is hard to keep pure.

the other reason the mineral oil is great is it 1 takes a long time to heat up, and all that wonderful mess, and if water or moisture gets into the take it sinks to the bottom since its heavier then the oil
the oil mainly does a real good job at keep temperatures stable if you get it running on a radiator that would normally be for liquid cooling it keeps you system really stable, but yes if your not careful that would be a big fucking mess. but ide be looking to do it more of a design the thing in a large plastic bin with some old pc parts
and then eventually put it in a nice fish tank and make it look really good

I think I have that same exact monitor. Is it a SyncMaster 206BW?

cooking oil has downsides to it though that mineral oil doesnt when i was looking it up i read a bunch of stuff about it(think it has to do with how quickly it heats and dissipates heat that kind of thing dont recall exactly though)

but mineral oil was one of the better oils/non conductive liquids to use
also mineral oil isnt as smelly and is clear like water

neither really
they both look dumb one being just a plain box with no creativity the other being stupid as shit looking

It's a 906BW... Pretty close.

Damn, I though you guys would have said something about the papercraft rather than the monitor... XP

Actually, I was going to say, with all that cool stuff, you're using that mouse?  It just throws off the whole theme.
