Is the drill always left out, just in case? :P

Yes they are always out. In fact we have atleast 3-4 in all the main cages. None of them use trill bits though as they are used as electric screw drivers

Five more terabytes, and it's already half full. Jeez.

Underclocking a Q6600...it hurts to see it.

Its only half full due to the fact I copied almost all the anime I had on my home system (which wasn't on DVD) to my server before putting it in the DC. Also I am not underclocking the Q6600 I just have intel enhanced speedstep enabled thus the CPU clocks down if it isn't being used which is 95% of the time with the servers current load. My server uses a lot more power and twice the space so I wanted to lower the power consumption down as low as possible.

Believe it or not but full CPU load and just my regular load makes about a 1/2 amp difference.

It's a server not a gaming machine, if the load doesn't demand full speed then why waste electricity and cooling capacity?

You've got this super expensive rack mount system, and then like an $80 chair from office depot/max. :P Nice setup though, I wish I had 3 monitors. Is that a KVM switch there?

It probably sits better than the $80 chair that looks like it that I saw then. :P

Nice to see that you leave the other monitors off when unnecessary :D
Sometimes I myself wonder why I have more than 1 monitor.

The system in the middle with the silver hot swap bays is actually not done yet.  I just got some of the parts in last night.

Here are some pics of whats going into it.

Sweet.  YAY!!  By January I should have a new PC and another 37" LCD.  I may have to link up my little 19" for secondary apps.  Now that I have my PS CS3 EX, I really need to get that tablet...

Got a good deal on it too.  $850 at the local Wally World.  Or it may have been Circuit City.  I can't remember.  I should have gotten two while I was buying LCDs.
