Kara no Kyoukai

Nikran:
I noticed that too..

(click to show/hide)From what i can see the present Shiki is the female one, but the death of her male counterpart changed her so much that she is very diffrent now. I reckon she stopped calling him Kokutou to put some distence between them. Or more correctly create a fake distence, since im betting thats just her being defensive (Or something). She did call him by his frist name when she thought he was the one that jumped off the building. Heh, that whole 1st episode boiled down to her saving him from those ghosts, goes to show how she really feels.

Ryougi connects to the Akasha... and I forget the rest. Go to Baka-Tsuki for a WIP project on the translation of the novels.

Nanaya/Tohno Shiki see 'the death of things' or, to put it another way, 'the (fated) end'.

If I'm recalling correctly, Nanaya's power is more of 'because you killed it, it was cut'. Ryougi's power may be 'because you erased its existence, it was cut'. Where erasing the existence is destroying the Akashic record... maybe.

--- Quote from: Type-Moon Wiki ---Ryougi Shiki: Possesses the ability to perceive the death of life force and also the death of the existence of objects and concepts alike. At this level, it enables her to perceive and annihilate physical material, persons, diseases, ghosts, intentions, and even magecraft.

gonna be a couple of days before I see the second movie, waiting for the DVD to be delivered

Kanzar:
Kureshii, I linked to them just in the post just a few above yours. XD

I guess a few more links won't hurt, considering...

Nikran: I was referring to Ryougi's calling of Mikiya 'Cocteau' - because Kokutou sounds like Cocteau.

miden:

Kanzar:
Yuuup~ Not all of them are just 50 minutes though, so they'll be closer to a 'real' movie's length.
