Not that I know the exact mechanics behind the stats
but not a single torrent in the Seeded tab belongs there
since none of them are above 0.2 in ratio.
And yes, indeed, the Escaflowne OST torrent I had as
an example can be found on mininova with the private
key and everything :-\

I learned of boxtorrents thru a torrent on another site and the torrent file had the boxtorrents tracker listed in it with a specific user's pass key. I can easily imagine if outsiders are using someone else's passkey that the dl/ul stats become ridiculously oversized.
Is there a feasibility of associating an IP range with each passkey to prevent unwarranted tracker abuse?

there is no need. passkey privacy is up to the user. if he or she reveals their passkey (whether intentional or not) then it is his/her loss.
the passkey you saw was probably one of our public passkeys that had expired.
