Found a ratio hacker/cheater? Report it here
Blanchimont:
On (1) As I said, if his pc/connection can handle it...
On (2&4) He might very well have leeched with public key and then switched in his own key for seeding, in which case the seeding will add to his stats. As for the 'none downloaded/small amount uploaded', perhaps he started seeding one he leeched publicly, but there were no leechers so he stopped it to give room for other torrents...
On (3) What exactly is hard with keeping an eye on overall ratio? It's THE ratio that matters, not the individual ones...
K7IA:
@eristic, remember that some members use Seedboxes for torrenting and they can keep strict control over seeding of individual torrents. Modern BitTorrent clients allow efficient seed queuing based on seeder/leecher statistics of the torrent (while they are forced seeding as well)

On the other counts you're right. On this one I have quoted, well, you will need to continually check how much you've downloaded/uploaded and balance them in very short intervals, that's if you're going to manually keep your ratio within +/- 0.005 of 1.

The only client, that I am aware of, with this capability is Azureus. Are there others?
User shadowy's client ID says s/he is using uTorrent 1.8.4! If s/he were using other clients that generated these erratic patterns I'd say we'd see the IDs of those in at least some of the torrents s/he were seeding. (Assuming s/he were using more than one machine. Say, one home machine and one seedbox.) That is not the case.
I really don't intend to discuss at length based on mere tidbits of information and speculation. For the time being I consider shadowy an honest user and leave judgement to admins who can check her/his activity in detail, if they will.
EDIT: Typo fixed.

Does that seedbox provider use an archaic version of uTorrent?
