Holy hell, I've got to bump this.  The more I listen to "Conqueror" the more impressed I am.  Mechina on this album is basically what I wish Fear Factory was.  It's kind of like the spiritual successor to "Obsolete".  Honestly, I don't know why I haven't been listening to this album a lot more before now.  Rapid-fire, staccato rhythms & drums give the music a hypnotic quality, complemented by ethereal keyboards and, in places, soaring vocals with the just the right effects.  The combination is something that's mechanical yet dreamlike, very cyberpunk.

Love those 2 tracks, but gotta say that The Iron Law is my favorite track.  I think I'm going to have to buy this album...

Well, I listen to Blind Guardian mostly. If anyone has a band that has a similar sound ( they seem Folk and Smphonic metal in one IMO ) please tell me XD
Out of the genre tho, I like the classical stuff ( Metalica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and other old bands )

If you're a fan of Blind Guardian, then I assume you're familiar with Demons & Wizards and Iced Earth.  If not, D&W is basically a side project, a crossover of BG and IE, with Hansi Kursch on vocals of course and Jon Schaeffer on guitar.  Iced Earth's stuff from the 90s is mostly really good, Iron Maiden-influenced power metal, although I don't like much that Schaeffer has done in the last decade and haven't kept up with them.  Ripper Owens was in Iced Earth for a few years, and recorded at least 1 album with them.

Pyramaze also did an album called "Immortal" with Iced Earth's former singer, Matt Barlow, which is a good listen.  I haven't heard their other albums.

And, not sure what your experience is with melodic death metal bands, and harsher vocal styles but there's a lot out there worth checking out.  A lot of those bands are heavily influenced by 80's power metal, but there's not much folk influence there.

Sounds like you're more a fan of their later stuff than the early; early Blind Guardian was more speed-like. It might be worth looking into:

Elvenking, Minstrelix's "Reflections", Balflare, Thy Majestie, Labyrinth, Eternal Legacy, Luca Turilli

If we expand into their earlier stuff:

Grave Digger, Helloween, Manticora, Hibria

And if we drop the Power Metal part and just go straight for Symphonic Folk, we get a whole new range of artists, though this is beginning to get a bit far from BG (they aren't really folk at all):

Crimfall (Symphonic/Folk/Melodeath), Finsterforst (Folk/Black), Hollenthon (Symphonic/Folk/Melodeath), Nokturnal Mortum (Symphonic Folk/Black), Cruachan (Folk/Black)
