Here is a random selection of stuff that came up from shuffle in my library.
I will say, I'm quite proud of this list. It turned out better than I expected for a shuffle list. There is pretty much a mix of tech, melo, black, and death metal in this list. Enjoy :)
Band - Song
Natan - In het zicht van de dood
Axamenta - Through The Scarlet Forever
Gravemachine - No Fate
Weapon - The Inner Wolf
Everfailed - Haunting Me Within
Archons - Obsolete Life Form
Dies Irae - Unrevealed By Words
Sworn (Nor) - Alleviation
Weeping Birth - Immoblie
Darzamat - Solfernus' Path
Rossomahaar- Ragnaroek 2014
Atritas - Black Sunday
Cocytus - "Stygian Mire"
Zonaria - At War With The Inferior
Refawn - Mirror of Reality
Naglfar - The Darkest Road
Illdisposed - Ich bin verloren in Berlin
Malevolentia - A L'Est D'Eden
Hollenthon - "On the Wings of a Dove"
Thyrane - Symphony of Infernality
Druzhina (Дружина) - Constellation

Make eargasm music, get drunk, make more eargasm music, attempt suicide, make mediocre music, get sober, make more eargasm music, become Born Again Christian, deny the opportunity to play eargasm music.
Dave Mustaine style.

Melodic Death is my favorite, still looking for more good bands in that genre.
Theres a little canadian band I like a lot called Protest the Hero, not sure what genre they fit in but I love em :)

Mathcore. Fan of the stuff myself, but there's so much misinformation and ill-formed opinions surround the sub-genre. This is a blog post I made not too long ago about it's origins and where the style derives, as well as a brief overview of the UK and US/Canadian scenes. Might be worth a look if you're looking for more along similar lines.

Good call. I like Melodic Death Metal, too. I haven't really found any good bands besides Children of Bodom, Inearthed, In Flames (Although, I wouldn't consider them Death Metal), and Dark Tranquility. I still find that Children of Bodom is the best band in the genre, but just because of Alexi Laiho's awesome melodies
