Oh look, a new Burzum album.

Boring. No innovation.
On the other hand, this means I've now heard 2 black metal albums all the way through ;D

Guys I haven't been following this thread very much, just wanted to throw out a list of atmospheric black metal that I like a lot. It's all mostly new age stuff, my favorites are in bold I would most certainly recommend any of these albums if you are in to atmo-black. Also in to doom and drone if anybody is in to that.
Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain, Marrow of the Spirit, The Mantle
Alda - Tahoma
Altar of Plagues - White Tomb, Mammal, Tides
Astrofaes - Those Whose Past is Immortal
Addaura - Burning for the Ancient
Burzum - Filosofem
ColdWorld - Melancholie²
Drudkh - Autumn Aurora, Forgotten Legends, Blood In Our Wells, Handful of Stars
Falls of Rauros - Into the Archaic
Fell Voices - Tour CD-R (Untitled II)
Fen - The Malediction Fields, Ancient Sorrow
Gris - Il Était une Forêt...
Krallice - Krallice
Lifelover - Erotik
The Morningside - The Wind, The Trees and The Shadows of The Past
Moonsorrow - Kivenkantaja
Negură Bunget - Vîrstele Pămîntului
October Falls - The Womb of Primordial Nature, A Collapse of Faith
Panopticon - Panopticon, Collapse
Paysage d'Hiver - Paysage d'Hiver
Summoning - Oathbound, Stronghold
Threnos - By Blood And By Earth
Veil - Sombre
Weakling - Dead as Dreams
Windir - 1184, Arntor
Wolves in the Throne Room - Diadem of 12 Stars, Two Hunters
Zuriaake - Afterimage of Autum
Well there ya go, no trouble to me I created this list somewhere else haha.

From what I've heard of Drudkh it isn't really atmospheric though.
Okay, here's some stuff I've found lately.
Conan - Monnos
Despite what the tags claim, it sounds like stoner doom to me.
Shrinebuilder - Shrinebuilder
Really heavy doom. The band has members from Om, Neurosis and Melvins.
Sunpocrisy - Samaroid Dioramas
Atmospheric post-metal. Kinda reminds me of Isis.

Well it's more of Drudkh's first two albums that are atmospheric. It's just a different type of atmosphere than you're used to, much more supernal and natural. Actually 'Autumn Aurora' is my favorite album of all time of any genre. Early Drudkh is leagues ahead of anything else they released - and for that matter most black metal ever released.
I should clarify on this list, Windir and Moonsorrow more folky than atmospheric - but still solid stuff. It's really all good metal unless you're only in to orthodox black or whatever. Negura Bunget nor Astrofaes aren't so much atmospheric either but damn good bands!
I second Shrinebuilder, good doom metal.

Look up (in the following order:
KAUAN - Lumikuuro
KAUAN - Tietäjän Laulu
EMPYRIUM - Songs of Moors and Misty Fields
IN THE WOODS… - Omnio
FOREST STREAM - Tears of Mortal Solitude
FALLS OF RAUROS - Hail Wind and Hewn Oak
FALLS OF RAUROS - Into the Archaic
UARAL - Sounds of Pain
RAVENTALE - Mortal Aspirations
IN THE WOODS… - Heart of the Ages
SVAFNIR - The Heathen Chapters
PEORDH - Glaring From Spacious Woods And Mountains Of Eternal Frost
RAVENTALE - Long Passed Days
NACHTREICH - Sturmgang
EMPYRIUM - A Wintersunset…
DARKTRANCE - Beyond the Gates of Insanity
THE MORNINGSIDE - The Wind, The Trees and the Shadows of the Past
RAVENTALE - On a Crystal Swing
No trouble for me either, the list is shamelessly stolen from my friendly "Dark Metal" nutter.
I also spotted that Sunpocrisy album, though I've not given it much of a spin. Lately I've been occupied by Ever Forthright (Technical Prog Death Metal/Djent), the new Accept album and Desultor (Prog/Death/Power).
