I haven't heard BFMV since their debut EP. Sadly, there's also evidence I was at one of the shows; my 15 year old self can be briefly seen crowdsurfing in their "Hand of Blood" single >.< On the one hand, I do still like that opening riff. Then again, they are Welsh...

I caught Ensiferum here in Mumbai (I live in Mumbai) about 4 years ago. They had come to IIT-Mumbai. It was exciting! I could not believe Petri Lindroos was in front of me!!!  :'(

EDIT: You're an Ensiferum fan... Go listen to Wintersun's self-titled album. It's a side project of Jari Maenpaa. I think you already know this. But just typed it for fuck's sake.

Not a particular fan of Ensiferum, or Wintersun. Another author took it, though I think he's a bigger fan than I am anyway. Ah well, I got plenty of other stuff I haven't even touched yet.

I never liked Wintersun...don't see what the fuss is about. Just sounds like a fusion of power metal and black metal.

This album is crazy...it's a Norwegian jazz band trying their hand at metal. Very avant garde.
