Friend got me onto Velnias. Definitely not my usual genre preference (Blackened Folk/Doom) but it's pretty awesome thus far.

Everyone and their grandmother faps Atheist. They're awesome, don't get me wrong, but so are plenty of other forgotten bands. I prefer Afflicted for old school prog DM, Garden of Shadows for something more melodic, or Lost Soul if we want to stray into Techy waters. Pretty much all the big names are overrated simply for the fact that other excellent artists get missed as a result.
