I'll go ahead and say that I like Tobirama out of those three. Well he has some common sense. No matter the fact that Hashirama and Madara were friends one day Madara is evil. And it seems like only Tobirama is able to see that.

Note: Madara took his own so much "cherished" brother's eyes for himself to get eternal mangekyou sharingan. Well isn't that evil?

As for Hashirama, I know he wants to trust his friend, but years have passed, and you know.. people change.

Lol, Tobirama has exceptional sensory abilities. "Not kneading chakra atm" is just an excuse. He knew Madara was there.

Tobi's explanation of how Izuna offered his eyes to Madara is false. Izuna died in battle and Madara took his eyes for himself.

Yeah I was confused after reading the second last chapter. We were told earlier that Madara was losing his sight when he took his brother's eyes out like a monster. Now they make it that Izuna was dying and he GAVE his eyes to Madara. The earlier scenario where Izuna was so fine and taking care of Madara seems fake. Why would Izuna be OK and Madara in bed?

Yes. Backstory finally ends (well for Hashirama that is). Pretty certain we're getting a next set from Madara's perspective.

So how did the 1st died?

He probably died of old age since, without Madara, no equals. But the flashback ended with an amazing chapter at least. Next chapter we probably see Sasuke's decision...

Was just reading some old chapters. Why did he suddenly cough up blood?

The 1st pic was due to the clash he had just endured with Naruto. His Chidori vs Naruto's Rasengan.
Remember when they fought on the roof and Kakashi had to stop it? When Sasuke used his Chidori, it destroyed the tank from initial impact, but the Rasengan destroyed the tank from the back.

The 2nd pic. It could probably be Karin, but it wouldn't have the devastating effect it had when he used it against Itachi, because it requires the lightning from nature - not through chakra.

I just wanna see the living kage's make a reappearance on the front lines (or at least some of them) Have Naruto infuse them with kyuubi chakra, and watch the pwnage unfold.

We never saw the die per se, they kinda left us hanging on that. I'm assuming that Tsunade can slap herself back together and heal the others.
Until we get official confirmation on whether they were KIA, I'll be hoping they make a return (or at least some of them).

Do you forget the fact that Tsunade can use healing jutsu? As long as she has enough time to stitch herself back together (yeah this is a leap of faith I know) then it's possible for at least some of them to make a return. I'm not saying it's likely, but I'd love to see it happen.

If we were talking about anyone else (besides tsunade), then I'd agree that there's practically no chance of them making a return, but I'd say it's at least a possibility that some of them could make it out of there.

I don't think that far ahead as in them making some kind of return. As you said it's one big leap of faith. I don't even believe that Tsunade is able to do anything.
What I really want to see about them is their current status >_< That urge alone is nerve racking...

These Kages' days have gone by. Should just kill them off already. Even when they combined their powers and said "This is the power of the 5 kages Hpmh!", they just ended up getting screwed by Susano'o with stabilized chakra.

I see. I was quite disappointed back then to find out chidori>rasengan in the main fight but it wasn't so. Although it didn't turn out to be better. If sasuke fainted and naruto was conscious, he could have been brought back..

Hmm.. Neji's death was indeed dramatic and sad, but I don't want him coming back to life. I mean, really, what's the point if all the dead come back again? Konaha will just be full of zombies =//

iirc Tsunade wanted to heal the kages when we last saw them. But I guess healing all of the them in her state might be drastic and she might even end up dying, which I so don't support.

As for the latest chapter, I was pretty sure that Madara was killed by Hashirama, which is also why his resurrected version is young. But then again, who was the one that saved and healed Obito? Izuna? Not so likely. Well guessing won't help here, since Kishi is a troll >_>

Other than this I like the tales by Hashimoto, but I guess I want to see Naruto himself sometime soon.

Well, first time joining in but hello~

I'm a bit out of the loop so I'll just put my thoughts on the chapter that came out (Chapter 626).

For starters I'm glad this round of back story is over. I don't know why but I can't bring myself to care enough for Hashirama's backstory. It's probably because I don't enjoy doing/seeing things twice and Naruto's life (/kinda/) is a re-embodiment of everyone's life in the past and I guess that connection was enjoyable at first (he would overcome with Jirayah couldn't and save his "friend" (I never really saw Naruto and Sauske as "friends" either)) but it's kind of getting dull. Also because Hashirama was never made out to be an important character (as far as my limited Naruto knowledge goes) besides for like a few chapters after Madara brags about how hes the best shinobi and so on and so forth.

Regardless, the fighting was alright (Still a bit weird for me to appreciate Manga fighting), I would enjoy to see it animated but only if there is a decent team working on it.

I'm interested in the future and hope that after a month~ of backstory we finally see some progression as to where the plot is headed. I also want to see how Sauske reacts, from the last page of Chapter 626, he looks like hes either in thought, or plotting something emo. (I'm sorry there are probably a lot of emo Sauske jokes here but I had too.) Somehow though, I doubt it'll change his opinion and he'll freak out and what not.

I'm sorry for the rant (+ grammar and spelling errors), if you read this far thank you I guess. o.o

These Sharingan can just cast a genjutsu anytime...

I was quite surprised with the end of the fight though. An EMS user being fooled by a clone? I mean, seriously? Even simply shinobi realize bunshins and stay alert. Sasuke could immediately see Naruto's clones in Part I. Now Madara, of all people, is fooled by THAT?!

i think what you mean is hashirama has never been an active character. He has always been important as the first hokage. Just never actively played a role in the series much like the 2nd hokage. So we just dont really care that much about what goes on since this is happening in the middle of a war

Yes pretty much, especially after the fact that the 3rd Hokage could beat him but now Madra couldn't it also introduces an annoying plothole.
