That being said I commend Konohamaru for his bravery in standing against one of Pein's bodies, but I really wish the kid would stop copying Naruto's reckless behavior and attacking dudes that are like a million times stronger than him. He has to understand he is not only risking his own life, but the lifeblood of the Konoha lineage.

Konohamaru needs to be protected at all costs, he has great potential and the will of fire, but he is light years away from being a Jounin. Running away for kids does not mean cowardice, even in the Ninja world. That being said if Naruto were a regular kid with no Biju inside of him he would have died a long time ago from his stupidity. Konohamaru had better lose that dumb streak before he ends up like Obito.

But sorry, back on subject I still say Sasuke wins in a battle. He is way too fast and quick witted for Naruto to keep up. What Sasuke lacks in intelligence compared to Shikamaru, he makes up for in the speed of his decisions which could still ultimately be Naruto's undoing.

Everyone is seeming to forget that it takes a long time to create even a Normal Rasengan. Do you really think Sasuke will give him the time to make a Giant Rasengan?

Well, with the recent developments seen in 434, Naruto can use shadowclones to temporarily gain their "state of mind" from sage mode, giving him quick bursts of it before it wears off. His time to make rasengans seems to be near-instantaneous in sage mode, so, if he were fighting Sasuke, then he would probably somehow factor this in (though the whole deal is to beat him, not kill him, and I have no idea how Naruto plans on doing that)

I think we're supposed to assume Naruto and Sasuke are equal now, that Naruto caught up to him after being easily overpowered in the Orochimaru hideout arch. The series seems to like the rival aesthetic, it seems.

It has been bothering me since the beginning of the series, why doesn't Naruto know who his parents are? I can't imagine a reason why it would be hidden, I thought at the beginning maybe he did and it was unimportant, but it seems not.

So Pein was weakened and Naruto wasn't using his full power due to him having extra clones stored away....this should be interesting. Also for once Naruto seems to be actually one step ahead of his enemy, so let's see where he goes with it.

It's fucking ingenious but I guarantee you it was NOT our boy's idea to begin with.

This is definitely only something the Grandpa frog could have come up with.

It had to have been somewhat of his idea. I mean only he knows the full capabilities of his bunshin technique and he probably knew he could already transfer the energy between them.....but the part to summon them is definitely the frog's doing.

Question: So Nagato (God?) Pein couldn't use his Repel ability until his energy became restored from flattening Konoha?

Theoretically wouldn't it take a hell of a lot more time to recover from using a technique like that? Not just like hours but DAYS or even WEEKS?

After using Mangekyou Sharinagan Kakashi is in bed for a while. I believe Pein physically does not have the physical constitution to withstand all of these techniques he is using, even if he is using the bodies and life force of other people. Orochimaru has a limit and I am guessing so does Pein in some way.

Well at least now we know Pein's weakness which is that big statue dude in the back. The only thing left to deduce is what does the Rinnegan have to do with Pein's ability to destroy Konoha? What abilities aside from the Rinnegan has Pein learned in his time apart from Jiraiya?

Also i have more confidence in Naruto winning now, it also seems they have found a way to circumvent the Kyuubi problem which is always a good thing.

It seems now that Naruto has gotten the advantage and in combination with possible support, and Pein losing Stamina I envision a Pein retreat. In addition to the fact that another person mentioned he cannot retrieve the 9 tails before the 8. And Killer Bee is a lot stronger than Naruto. I think Pein is down for the count in face of the insurmountable odds against him right now.

My guess is that real Pein hasn't even been revealed yet and is controlling the others from the shadows. So he might be able to recover that quickly after using such a ridiculously powerful attack because he can probably siphon his chakra between each body....or something like that. Of course this is just speculation, but I think its safe to say that Pein either has a massive amount of chakra like Naruto or his eyes make the cost of doing Ninjitsu much less.

I think I remember Jiraiya talking about the cost of Ninjutsu being much lower for Rinnegan users, so if that's the case then it makes sense, but if Pein had as much strength as Naruto and the preciseness of Sasuke it would mean that he is almost undefeatable

Pein was a bit cocky for thinking he's already defeated Naruto just by sucking his Sage Chakra out when we know he has a habit of creating excess Shadow Clones.

He does have plenty of outside help though. The 2 sage frogs, his sage clone, other possible clone(s) we don't know of, and Hinata who looks like she might run off to help him.

If they decide they want to spark some love story, Hinata coming to Naruto's rescue would be key.

Edit: I might be the only one, but I want naruto to hook up with Hinata. I always root for her.

Regarding the sage frogs, we don't know how long "long" is, the only thing they can do now is waiting for their genjutsu. To summon his second sage clone they need to summon him and interrupt their genjutsu, and most likely it won't help much again God realms power unless he's taken by suprise. At most Naruto has 2clones he can have hidden if it was the real Naruto that threw that last rasen shuriken, so yes it might be possible, though I think it's pretty unlikely they will be able to do much against God realms power. And outside help from the others ninjas in the village seem pretty unlikely, I mean they were having serious problems against the lesser Pains, even Kakashi got fucked up by God realm pretty quick.

I always liked Hinata, atleast more than Sakura <.<

I am taking the standpoint that the Sage Chakra that was sucked out of Naruto will turn that Pein into a frog. Either that, or he was already underground when the smokescreen appeared earlier and all the Naruto's involved in the following attacks were shadow clones, with Naruto's clone that is now caught being used to learn about any new tricks Pein might still have. Since the advice Katsuya gives Naruto will transfer to the original if it is a bunshin and it disappears, he will obtain all that knowledge while still remaining hidden.

I don't think Naruto thought that much ahead, even if he did, wouldn't his kagebunshin get cancelled the same time he started draining the sage chakra? As he nullifies all ninjutsu, Narutos kage bunshin should get nullified when he's nullifying the sage-mode. But it is a possibility that the Pain will turn into a frog as he's draining it, or atleast that's what we've been told by Naruto, so in the end Naruto get freed.

I don't think this fight will be over yet. Naruto will either most likely pull some weird shit off or he'll get help from one of the frogs.....since we know everyone else in the village is pretty much useless.

Also WTF is up with the killing of important characters all of a sudden? Juraiya, Shizune, Kakashi(?), and Elder Frog(?). They're all dropping like flies. I wouldn't be surprised if one of Naruto's friends (one of the ones who are his age) was offed next at the rate this is going. Its really kinda strange, since "good" characters rarely die in Naruto and deaths are normally really spaced out.....yet we've seen 3(maybe) die within 10 chapters.

I think Kishimoto stated that 3 people close to Naruto will die. That being said, if Kakashi is really dead, that will make the 3 right there... though he didn't say that it won't be more than 3...
