We don't even know if Kakashi is dead yet for sure.

She may, or may not be dead, but Kakashi seems pretty confirmed by Tsunade and Naruto unless he's hidden himself very well and I doubt Kakashi would do that. But I cannot see why Hinata should be alive, Pein shouldn't have had a problem killing her when she's in that condition, and so far he haven't seen to show even the slightest amount of mercy, no matter who he faced.

Kakashi did actually manage to fool Pain into that he
was dead (chapter 423/424) but it kinda looks grim
for him. Won't really know if either Kakashi or Hinata
are dead or alive until it's written explicitly.. Hinata
got some pretty good defensive moves iirc.

What happened to the supposed time gap between usages of the Shinra Tensei?

If you'll kindly notice, the time between which Choji and the gang attackedhttp://onemanga.com/Naruto/423/02/ and in which Kakashi threw the bomb shurinkenhttp://onemanga.com/Naruto/423/03/,http://onemanga.com/Naruto/423/04/ is relatively close in proximity.

Wasn't the recovery time at least 1 seconds?

If so, isn't Kakashi generally faster than 1 second?

This is fucking gay, he is not of the Hyuuga clan so he shouldn't be able to see Underground attacks or Chakra masked below the Earth.

I'm glad Hinata's alive, she's barely got do anything since being defeated in the ninja exam arc at the beginning - at least in the manga, and I relish the Hyuuga-related fighting scenes.

Though he did have that other Pein that's somewhat broken, but not dead, so it's possible.

I believe they said it was a 5-8 second gap? I'll have to check it out later.

The 8-tails shows up to Konoha in a rickshaw, and having accidentally driven over Kakashi, leaves two trails of blood running from his corpse to where Naruto and Pain are. Naruto, following this trail to Kakashi's body, goes even more berserk and... [To be continued...!?]

he should just have some super duper secret technique that he had to save as a last resort that would likely defeat nearly any opponent according to anime laws
