Because the ending sucked! Alto refused to make a stand... he didn't have a backbone, right to the bitter end. I wanted a conclusion for the series... not a retelling/alternate version of it. I'm a huge fan of open endings usually, but not here. This needed closure.

Have to say this song was disappointing. Still decent, but there's several other Sheryl songs I'd listen to before this. Diamond Crevasse, Iteza Gogo Kyuuji Don't Be Late, and What 'bout my Star? to name a few. Here's hoping for a Ranka single, and/or a duet. If not, I'm guessing Ranka's will be next movie.

Hey,

There is still good stuff to look forward too. The Macross F concert DVD with May'n and Megumi is released in December. We'll be able to see them sing Lion on stage, live, at the same time. I saw the preview of them singing 'what about my star' live together and it was good...

So who is going to rip this and encode it to put up on BakaBt. Because if i remember correctly. Anime music videos are allowed. though I Have not read the Wiki since the last update.... I probably should go and do that lol

I don't know what bothered me more... Megumi Nakajima's dress in that concert, or the extra tooth that seems to stick out at the end of May/n's smile. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that they both can ACTUALLY sing in concert, and not just lip-sync it through like most artists do nowadays. But still, it wouldn't be fun if I didn't pick out the little things.

Anyway, still looking forward to seeing more Macross F stuff. I think I saw a gif somewhere of Alto actually kissing Sheryl himself (and not just Sheryl lunging at him, but I mean, Alto actually kissing her, which I thought was shocking given his character).
