You can make a very awsome DBZ movie if you have about the same budget as the Lord of the Rings movie's, a director with actuall an idea what to do and with several blockbusters on its name and a cast that doesnt like pony hopping in the grass. oh and take a piccolo that looks like a piccolo and not a member of the circus of freaks.

they could very easily do it with budget actors but they would need to spend at least half the budget of a film like lotr or batman to make a genuinely decent film and could save money with the cast since there is no need for a star studded cast its got a decent story to follow in dragonball

lol i have no idea how that guy is going to capture goku's innocence and playfulness. i guess what they are trying to do is tell the story there own way, much like how west side story is a remake of romeo and Juliet.

somehow i feel that if that guy was green it would look more ridiculous

these kinda movies are best left animated/cgi

I was gonna say. That trailer's definitely not all from the same movie

I hope the music isn't as gay as the music used in that fan trailer...

Also. I think it should be occasionally reiterated on this thread that the guy playing Goku looks like an American frat boy.

Also we have this Dragonball movie here on boxtorrents. I'm sure it's much more enjoyable than this new Live Action will be.

The guy who is directing it, directed & produced some X-files episodes, produced Final Destination 3,The Others, and produced/directed The One and Final Destination 1.

None of which, are complete failures.

I hold a tiny bit of hope. Very tiny. If compared to Uwe Boll movies, I can pretty much bet it will be better.

Honestly, I'm expecting Mortal Kombat. If it exceeds that, I'd be happy.

all 3 of the movies sucked a bag of dicks. The One was one of jet li's worst flicks IMO. And the final destination ones speak for themselves GARBAGE

but the xfiles was more content driven then a WOW GREAT DIRECTING, it was what was happening not how it was shot that made it good and its been long enough that i cant say how good or bad it looked from a filming aspect.

But simply looking at the casting and how much ass its likely to suck. I will just download it on dvd screener copy when its out
