I think the only difference is that it doesn't do the introductory of other characters at the end.

TITIES!!! and ass...I was so very disapointed that the Blair witch had that soap infront of her ass. I cried. Also isn't everyone else curious to see how human Maka is, considering her father is a scythe? I know I am! So someone needs to shred her clothes...tentacle style.

I'd really like to start seeing some changes from the cut to the uncut. Or else, I'd just think it's a way for the company to air 102 episodes on one channel but still maintaining the series at 51 eps.

After watching three episodes I can't tell where this is going, since there were three mostly seperate lines, but it looks like a good time killer. Plus, I'm turning into an HD whore.

The first three eps were just an intro to the series. The story starts at ep 4.

Second that. A large part of why I'm watching something mediocre (in my opinion) is because its in HD and so very pretty. The animation is pretty amazing in my opinion. If DB picked this up, I would cry due to the pain in thinking that the 720p rip that takes up like 300 MB of space is being reduced to a 420p rip thats only 170 MB in size.

Yeah, I would never be able to watch an anime that is meant to be watched in HD in SD. Also, Saizen is doing an epic job with this already so I'm satisfied.

I'm not big fan of DB ether, but they do translate it fast... and as I'm now hooked to this ( only laughing anime I watch at the moment) I would like it to be released as fast as possible.

and I don't see why DB can't release HD version...

There is nothing to prevent them from releasing HD rips, but its not their "style". They throw out whatever comes out first as fast as possible. The end result is a speed sub. Its not great, but its not bad. Since this anime far more visually appealing then DB other projects, Soul Eater would likely be reduced to something less then acceptable.

If you're on DB's staff and want to start producing files that are more then twice the normal size of a DB file, then go ahead and do so. If you are just a fan like I am, then either deal with the current rate at which these are being released, or hope DB or some other speed subbing group picks it up. Just be prepared for "low" quality.

I have no problem with DB, probably cos I don't watch episodes they sub...

and you're probably right, losing video quality on soul eater is not acceptable... so waiting it is... would have liked to watch episode 5 today tough.

In theory, if you wait, you end up, after a while end up getting anime just as fast as speed subs. Its like DOTs (damage over time), it builds. I've found it to be true. I still what Bleach subbed by DB, but thats because Bleach is little more then a time killer that I watch insult and then delete.

The series doesn't seem to be bad at all, but some of the characters are quite strange and I wish Blair would get a lot more airtime :-3

As she suggested in the latest episode she should go to this death school as well. Remember, she's much stronger than those kiddies Maka and Soul... so I don't think she would have any problems there ;-)

Animation is good but the characters... Horrible.

Should probably start reading the manga.. I've heard it's good.
