the show is following the manga really well, if you dont like the show you probably wont like the manga. But I actually like the show it has a good mix of characters and personalities so you wont get bored anytime soon.

Only complete series are allowed on Box, and since this is still being aired, you'll just have to get the episodes 1 by one until then.

oh,i see, in any case

ive finished watching Ep 4, this does remind me quite a lot of Shaman King, and this one reminded me a bit of Naruto...woth are of my favorite shows, but i miss the fast paced action from the first episode, does it get like that again?

shinimai and son is overkill for me, cant stop laughing evry time they appear. shinigiami doesnt even have to do anything funny, just pops out hes hands and that crazy speaking just rofl. and its one of the few animes i rly like evry char there is.

The anime is going to be great. So far, the animie follows the manga exactly. Its 1 episode per 1 chapter. So I don't think there will be any fillers unlike some anime I know of *cough cough*.

gotta love the part with soul and black star...

I am actually liking this anime series quite a bit, the art style specifically has drawn me in. Caught up at the moment with the series and eagerly await the rest, despite not really liking shaman king at all. Gah.. this is why I do not watch incomplete anime...

Anyway, the cast of characters seems really interesting, all of them, and even the off characters like Blair, Shinigami, and Dr. Franken are fun to watch which is rare. (I usually notice off characters do not seem to do much but fill in weak points or support characters, but that is exactly what supporting characters are for I suppose.)

Having read ahead in the manga, there are quite a few scenes I wanted to see animated in that lovely style of theirs.. here's hoping they stay away from fillers and keep up the good work, eh?

I really was surprised by this anime.

I downloaded the first four eps and after watching the first three, I kinda was like, meh. I didn't realize the first 3 eps were basically a prologue. A week or two later, I had run out of anime to watch to I watched the fourth episode and realized it was kinda the "real" start of the story line.

If anyone is thinking about watching this, make sure you get to the fourth/fifth ep before making a judgement.

obviously there's manga. And I have confirmed, there was a filler episode. damnit.

Onemanga.com

read some on there. They're 40 page chapters and its biweekly, so yea. The anime is pretty good though.

That happens to me sometimes too, Depends on the anime I guess. Usually if it has alot of fillers, I'd start to lose interest in the anime. Soul eater has been mostly devoid so far. Plus, Maka rules.

i'm following this series now, along with Code Geass, and uh, it's somewhat like... shaman king...

but it's cool, so there's a chance that i'll continue watching this.
Once fansubbers finish the whole series and batch it, I'll snatch it. I only download/watch completed series, I don't have the patience to "wait" for the next episode. The same for Code Geass.

Unlike Code Geass, 52 episodes is a long time to wait.

I've been watching this off and on, even got bored on some episodes.  Please tell me the Excalibur episodes are fillers.  The first one was tolerable, but that last one was unbearable.  And like others said, the art keeps bringing me back.  I love how even the moon is drawn.  With Medusa flying on her broom, and the moon in the background with blood seeping through it's teeth, was just beautiful.  Am I the only one who also thinks Medusa is sexy?  Plus the fighting scenes are well detailed and pretty cool.  I've always liked women fighting with scythes.

I don't care how long the series is, just as long as they follow the manga (without drawing it out like Shippuuden) and keep fillers to the bare minimum.  I'm also glad it's planned for at least 52 episodes.

The latest episodes were pretty exciting, bringing it more into an epic story (not quite as much as Code Geass, but not much will ever be).

I've been watching Rumbel's h264 uncut releases.  But if want to view them on a XBox360/PS3, check out the ones by Tadashi.  They are 720p h264/AAC hardsubbed MP4s.  Ensured by the encoder to work on 360's (so I assume PS3 too).  Some even prefer Tadashi's translation compared to Rumbel's.

I've been watching Tadashi's version, and I like it so far; it's fairly consistent in its translation, and the quality of the encode is good.
