I have to agree with the people saying its a great show, and that its ending was terrible. they really shouldnt have jammed everything in together toward the end to end the series. They were forced to change alot of things from the manga that i happened to like.

They couldnt exactly wait and follow the manga due to the fact that the manga is still going on a monthly basis so it would take a very long time, or they would have had to put in a ton of fillers.
but i recommend that for the people who are disappointed with the ending read the manga, you will see what you missed ;p.

That is if you want HD and don't care about the late show.
2. Depends, most of the anime is great, while the manga is almost always great. Watch the show and then read the manga is my advice.

Um, not sure what to say about the anime. I thought it was cool, but then there was something about it that just didn't make it quite good. Like it was trying too hard to be cool if you know what I mean. As others have mentioned already the ending wasn't very good.
(click to show/hide)Shinigami just got pwned from protecting Kid? Before that he was ABSORBING beams into his hand, just putting his hand up to stop beams, and I forgot what else, but he probably used his hand some other way to stop attacks from Asura.
And I knew this would happen, but Maka defeats Asura?
Maka: "Anti-demon slash!"
Asura: "Dat shi- wuz weak, n it din' hurt cuz I ain't demon, I jus' crazy."
Why did people call you the Demon God? Why did Stein call it the best attack ever because it only cuts evil? So you have to be either crazy or evil? Can't be both?
And of course if that doesn't work, then you just punch the guy in the face and his face will explode. Oh, add the power of courage to that and it will be unstoppable.
Adding to that, there were so many things left untold. They better make a new season, though I have no clue what the story would be about if they defeated the strongest enemy. (I did not read manga)

Even though they had to end the anime, I agree, it could've ended much better and less cliche-ish. My advice, read the manga. It's more realistic. Also, read from the beginning.

read manga if you can, then watch the anime, otherwise don't rant about deviations, but usually anime is different than manga, and in most cases to fully understand an anime that was unexplained (FSN) you should read the manga/play the game/think about it/do a poop in the restroom for less pressure.
