At long last project 0.5 has been finished!
It took a lot of brute force to remove Tats from Full metal alchemist, I died like 3 times in the process.
Don't worry, I'm okay now.

Tatsu Starts off the sig with a nice background and sideways render.

Well technically, the wiki wouldn't have this kind of information. Besides, it's pretty similar to sigs in technique, why not? (This can be basically viewed as a general thread for graphic works too)

Well technically, the wiki wouldn't have this kind of information. Besides, it's pretty similar to sigs in technique, why not? (This can be basically viewed as a general thread for graphic works too)

1- file size inappropriate for a sig/avatar
2- dimensions inappropriate to ava/sig

that picture is not a sig or avatar, can only be used as source ofr any of those, but from the way the post has been built, it seems that author thinks it was a signature, didn't read anything about size or dimensions, looked more like a random pic bump.

If it was placed in the desktop/wallpaper it would have been more successful.

I wondered about posting it to the Desktop thread, but seeing as i would probably be given feedback from more experience people here, i posted it here.
I did not think it was a signature, might even have felt a sort of humiliation there when you said it.

Anyhow, i will be out of here.
But i wonder how this is something to get pissed off about, really.

^^this, I do not see a reason to randomly post a good picture if it's not a request to make a sig/ava from it, this topic is solely for avatars and signatures, I did not get pissed off, and I did not mean to offend you, but you should read some rules before posting anything anywhere if you are new to the forum.

Ok thats it.

This thread has been dead for at times 5 months? Because the requesters didn't even know what they wanted, the set they wanted was either, wrong / not available / out of reach.

The makers here mostly make sigs for themselves because they know themselves best.
I've tried requesting for sets before and it was terrible, i am a very picky person, and the style varies on the artist making it, if the request the artist made was off we'd be there remolding it until i forfeited.

I just happened to run into failboat's showcase by luck, and knew he could create the ultimate set.

Now if artists are not encouraged to post their showcases, be it self made images or Ava Sig sets how are the requesters supposed know who to pick for a request? How are they supposed to know what effects they like, especially those who have said images at hand?
