Ohh, that's useful... I tried to import into Photoshop before, but it always ended up as a blank canvas for me... the encoding thingy helped. ^_^

I think you removed a bit to much with magic wand tool, but might be just me, looks cool though :)

I made v1's. the effect i'm tried to achieve in the avatar is to make it appear burned.
also, i didn't use magic wand tool here AT ALL. these both use clipping masks.

the avatar has visible edges cut, if you can manage to clear out that, or use MSN and send me a psd I'll try doing it as well, and we can compare, it would look awesome. Please do use my MSN instead of PMs :) easier to catch me when I'm at home this way :)

Hey, just made a sig (the Stocking one in my sig rotation)

But it feels...not as good as it could be. Any suggestions? Also, if you know the GIMP equivilent of the tools you suggest, that would be helpful, but if you just describe what to do, I can probably figure out what tools/filters/etc to use.

Or if you think it's OK the way it is.
