In my eyes that looks like you let a 5 year old cut papper with a scissor.
Oh, and you told him to cut however he liked.
That is how it looks to me so no, I do NOT like it.

Believe it or not, what you see as a choppy, random, "5-year-old cutout" can be appreciated as a style of its own.

^ I did not actually do anything much, the skulls were part of image just cut some parts out deleted here and there, twisted them a bit around here and there and made them all in the same colour tones, a brush stroke here and there. I am not really found of difficult signs and so on. My like to keep it simple and fast

(only 14 layers...usually it takes even less

)

I do not have any decent stock on this comp, but I remember having few skull pattern sets on my main comp.

^ well - currently I have only one as my main comp burned down and I am way to lazy to go and fix it (well most likely I just need a new one, I think mother board of processor refused to cooperate with me any longer, they have been complaining for some time now), right now I am working with netbook only

when I need data from my main comp I just connect hd to my mothers comp. I do not think I will be getting my main comp fixed any time soon

My is way to lazy

Its kind of fun, because I bought my netbook just because it looked cute and I did not really had any use for it. And a month later my main comp burned down

5 year old? Random? Seriously? I'm very disappointed in you. Go learn how to use Lasso, Blending Options, Blend Mode, Selection modes then come back and tell me if it's so "random" and for "5 year olds". I feel pretty offended. I'm nice enough to not criticize your signature or avatar and keeping my thoughts to myself. For the most part, I can tell which is a shitty work and good work. But you know what counts? That these people are happy to present their shit without being embarrassed or to think low of their works.

There are a whole bunch of people on this forum and other forums that like what I do and keep on using what I make and request stuff from me. I seriously wonder if what you said is so true because if it were, then that shit wouldn't be admired and used by others.

Seburs have most of my recent works with Lasso style. Why don't you give him a nudge and ask him if it's "so random" to make those edges? ...

@ Tatsujin - what is wrong with you? zedox10 was not critiquing your skills with photoshop but your style just as I did some time ago.

None here doubt that you have great photoshop skills and that you can make great looking signs, but you have to understand that not every bodies taste is the same. You do not have to start to act all offensive, because that way you actually do act like 5 year old.

And I have to agree with zedox10 - the crop out how ever skilfully it is made do look really random ( "..looks like[and not is like] you let a 5 year old cut papper with a scissor"), there is practically no symmetry and no logic, some may like that and some don't.
I will keep on making simple signs/avas that almost none like, everybody is free to critique that, I believe that everybody has a right to his/her own opinion and taste. And I do not use "complex" opinions given by photosho, because I do not see a need for that. As I remember from our last "discussion", you use sign/ava making to master your photoshop skills, nothing bad about that its even good, but you can not expect that everybody will like your style just because it is complicated. Look at recent BrownMaster sets - rather simple to make, but looks great.

I also think that this tread was made so that people can critique the sig/avas others have made and give advises and their opinions. You are free to critique as much as you like as long as you just do not say offensive things, like - you are and idiots and so on.

Quite frankly, although i dislike tatsujins style as a whole, I like his works because they look neat and tidy, every part is detailed as much as possible, every use of the tool is defined and done correctly.

As a style I dislike it, but as a work, I think it's on a professional level, so as a work I love it.
