/sigh/ ok. Hey, can I have the Birdy sig you already made? I like it. ;D

What I mean is, can I use it as my sig, and let me edit it a little?

sure you can do with it what ever you want

I do not like it :)

OK cool. Now I just need to take some online lessons...

If anyone wants sets from me let me know. I'm open for two projects (two people that means) only. I have limited amount of time.
I don't think anyone took Tatsu up on this. If the offer is still open you want to have some fun set making I would be glad to wear it.

Same again applies as last time I suppose. Probably the style that is similar to this one. Your Zone of Enders/Panty & Stocking stuff is not my cup of tea. And just an ecchi set of any character you want to do it of.

If I had a choice then I would say an NGE Mari set similar to this would be great for a rotation. That way I can keep this one in the loop and wear the new one.
Request by Enzedder.

Project Kanojo -- Two-three hours (gathering pics and fighting fonts, sigh)

Avatars and Signatures rotate randomly. Refresh the page to see different ones.

Code: [Select]

- Put this code in your avatar.

first of all, avatars are great, but the sigs are, i think, exactly what Enzedder doesn't want

Layers are overrated.

IMO if one single layer doesn't effect the work by more than 5~15% - delete it (unless it's a detail that has to be there). Having more effects layers (i.e. distort, blur, smudge, C4D's, etc.) also serve to "overload" the work.

Most of my layers are spent on text, lol: http://puu.sh/1B9I ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌

I had started on the Birdy Sig and Ava set yesterday, but scratched it, started over, applied a little known technique, and Voila! I came up with this beauty:

(click to show/hide)

(The pic of birdy is NOT mine, it was a wallpaper i saved and removed the background.) Anyway, I am still working on it and expect a newer version in at most next weekend (i am busy).

Please tell me what you think!

EDITED: I put up the original, decided didnt need text

It doesn't matter how many layers you use. What matters is the final results of your work.

I do agree with if a layer doesn't affect your work for X amount of % then it's useless. On the other hand, I don't delete it, I hide it and sometimes I go back to it and tweak it to get some results out of it. And the text is a pain sometimes. The effects and elements are cake.

You do your stuff just like Sebur. I have several files of his .psd work and a lot of it involves masking. I tried to learn it, but I couldn't. In the end, I can do the same effects as he does and because of him I can create some nice looking shades. We both learned a lot from each other. :P We need to do more collaborated projects ...

Mmmm. They are delicious Tatsu. Thanking muchly. I will swap them over later today. And do not worry about the Asuka set joining them. Its part of a different show. If I am using rotations I like to keep a theme between them.

EDIT: I am not sure what this food thing mentioned is about though. >_>

I see. btw, that makes me curious. how exactly do you do your collaborative projects? pass each other modified versions of the same psd?

same here, to be honest though, i learned that from you. though in the case of my homura sig i really wanted it to be overloaded. though her skintone admittedly is a bit overdone here. so far i really like it

I put the text atop of the sig because I am paranoid of stealing. (The pic of birdy is NOT mine, it was a wallpaper i saved and removed the background.) Anyway, I am still working on it and expect a newer version in at most next weekend (i am busy).

erm, learn typography and color harmony? seriously though, i suggest you start off by grabbing other people's psd's and study it. or maybe look up tutorials here and there. that's how i learned to do stuff i do now.

Pretty much. One of us starts it, and it gets passed around at least twice between us and the person who didn't start it finishes it and posts it. Then we trade who starts the next project.

not bad, but I like the one in your sign better, not so hurtful on the eyes :)

why didn't you add your nickname in there?
