to be honest, DMC 4 Dante was pretty meh in comparison to the original PS2 era Dante
(or even DMC 3 Dante) and now capcom gives DMC fans this... ふざけんなよ

Seems to be a trend these days. I recall an article discussing a so called "emo superman". I'm really not sure where they're going with it. Bad Asses should be just that: bad ass. This rather pathetic "frail" look is, at best, rebellious. /opinion

Ha! There's a challenge: Make the new Dante look good*. (And good luck with that.) /joke: no, I don't actually want it (HELL NO)
*No offense if you like the new look. Although I suspect anyone who cares enough about Dante's look to take offense probably takes offense to the change, anyway.

Then again, "Izaya-kun" does manage to pull off being BA (and... perhaps sociopathic) rather well, despite sharing some common features appearance-wise.

/random aside: it always throws me off when things get shortened. ふざけんな　for ふざけるな, for example. How the heck do you get used to that? Hearing it is one thing, but actually knowing what you can get away with while still being understood?

Thought DMC5 is a new character & not Dante??  Ok I have not really kept up with DMC, so I'm most likely wrong.

I know A-P uses jpegs, but the white kind of doesn't match the sig now, the space would look better with blood red color instead.

And there's a good reason I picked this version of Dante instead of the new version.  The new version isn't being developed by Capcom either.  I'm hopeful though, as the game is going to be an origin story...  So hopefully we get to watch him turn from emo teenage to deliciously delicious ^_^
