i'm not satisfied with this but just made it out of lack of fun sigs on this board, I think the forums needa more lively set of ava/sigs now, so I made pie

i was originally planning to put a mini Ed someplace there but couldn't find a picture that would match the front, but I plan on fixing this sig later, after I finish Maria Holic.

Yo, can anyone help me? I was working on removing backgrounds on different pics, but I need an easier way. If the back ground was COMPLETELY un color related to the object, it would be easy, but this is not the case for my newest one. Here is what I have so far:

This will take longer than my attention span lasts at this current rate. The technique i'm using has its disadvantages. Any suggestions for removing backgrounds?

Yeah... I left them in there original sizes, because I will resize it in the end.

I have always wanted a Serial Experiment Lain or Boogiepop Phantom ava/sig set, but I have never been able to make one that would meet may exceptions (because I made it even if they was good. I just ruyin the image as whole image can not be fit in 150x500px) ( I wanted a Texhnolyze set..I made one, liked it, did not use it...it was to good to show it to anyone

Will anybody care to make me one? (no bright colours and no fancy cut outs, my do not care for any of these things, if possible sign size not bigger then 150x400)

@TiYlER - it is easier to use Magic Wand Tool or Magic Eraser tool or Background Eraser Tool and then just delete few pixels here and there then using what ever else while deleting unwanted pixels from the image you want to use.
Dunno how it is in Ghimp, but I understand that it have most of Photoshop opinions, I hate Ghimp (tried using it, Win7 is almost as horrible as WinVista is).....it is so much easer in Photoshop...well I hate anything linux based as I kill linux based programs so easily.....windows can handle me most of the time

O_O, so what? just make one. there are at least 3 people here who change ava/sigs weekly.
everyone gets used to the new set an hour after they change it.

I never even finished my Birdy Ava/Sig Set (the one I'm using isn't mine, Harpy made them). But I guess I could try.
