fushigi yuugi - anime_fin

the version up here has some serious issues with timing
I also noticed on anidb that anime_fin used xvid (1-39) and divx4 (40-52) while HL's copy is encoded in divx3, so the quality might be better
if no one has it, I'll just grab HL's version

Not likely it'll get replaced, especially when both use DVD source...

I believe the [a4e] DVD-rip is still there...
The new one just fixed some errors in the previous fansub-version torrent (the files are the same except for the corrected ones...)
But you're right, some examples exist...
The 'Legend of the Galactic Heroes' aka 'Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu' HKDVD rip was replaced by a hardsubbed fansub version (if I remember correctly from reading the comments...). Too bad it was before my time, I wouldn't have mind ripping the subs from the fansubs and time/edit/muxing them with the better raws...

It should be acceptable, I don't think there's any single-audio version of Fushigi Yuugi TV on here so it's not like anime.fin's version would have to replace anything. I wonder why no group's ever done modern h264 encodes of this series. And it's possible that the DVDs themselves had poor subtitle timing, but it's been so long since I watched them that I don't remember.
