*darn.. I didn't knew my first post was gonna be about Hayate..*

Well, I have finished watching the entire 52 episodes out of NBTD-ness. lol
Not too bad I would say. Definitely a good anime if you just want something to laugh over and chill out upon. Say, maybe you've watched too much Neon Genesis Evangelion beforehand and you just gotta neutralize your brain a lil. *haha*
Somehow in the league of Lucky Star I guess.

It's a bit tad lengthy, but trust us, just go ahead and download it. It also serves well for a *double click and watch* anime where you don't need to follow a specific plot to understand. Of course, at least go through the first few chapters to understand the basics just in case you go 'huh?'

LOL @ references
I couldn't understand some of it, so it's ok, as my anime watching is still rather limited. Though I tend to oppose the crowd, liking what is more towards having a moderate fan base.

Loved this anime and it kinda covers the same genre [parody] as Gintama. It's definitely worth the download and great to watch, the references are amazingly funny and you'll definitely recognise some of them. For example they parody Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in one of their episodes :P.

I think the anime is over. Not 100% sure, but pretty sure.

No, at the end of the 1st season, they said there was a 2nd season in production ::)

Ive downloaded like 12 episodes. . .but they are like 52. . .

are they worth downloading/watching?

cause they are quite a lot!
its been funny so far but i gotta feeling its gonna get less funny after episode 12. . .

Hayate no Gotoku is by far, the funniest anime I have seen this year. It is ridiculously, stupidly, funny! You can try to get the torrent from TT or you can go with IsoHunt. I downloaded mine via a private FTP. >_>;;

edit -- Second season is in production.

You shouldn't have to go that far to DL it, considering it's on Box in SD and HD formats.

They weren't .... okay nevermind. Now I remember, I downloaded the SD one, or was about to then I hit the HD one ... For 11 Gigs, I couldn't wait so I just snatched few episodes from the FTP server till it was done. My memory is dull, >_< I'm running on 256 MB .. I need to get rid of it and install an 8 Gig memory!

Great series especially after watching Lucky star, Excel Saga, and Melencholy.

Are there people from those series on this series too? (artist, writers, directors) I was really surprized by actual characters from other shows showing up, hilarious though.

The only thing about Hayate is I kind of feel like several key anime series were looked over to reference. Thankfully the second season is coming!

I was wondering if I should make a new thread for this no-beep patch installation!

It's very easy to use, go here:-

http://rawako.wordpress.com/hayate-no-gotoku-patch-faq/

Get the torrent from the homepage then go back to the FAQ and read what it says, very simple installation.

Hayate no Gotoku freaking rocks! <333

Sounds tempting, but it won't work with the XviD version. Oh well, Bandai will be releasing it in R1 sooner or later, probably in cheap sub-only sets.

I liked it. It had some slow episodes, but it was brilliant overall.

The second season looks even more interesting after watching three episodes. :)
