Havoc10K:
well it is about relationships of Shana, and her emotional growth, you can expect a bit more centered action on the enemies, but in all it still will be about her feelings.

It's the way the series combined action and emotions that made me like it. I was disappointed, because after Shana professed her feelings at the end of season one, I was expecting that there would be significant development of her relationship with Yuji. But there wasn't. Instead the entire second season dealt mostly with the theme of love from afar that was already present in the first one and even the end didn't lead to a complete resolution or something new.

It's the kind of series that will get a third season being the cash cow it is.

The second season started to fail at around ep 10. A love interest DOOMED TO FAIL SO BADLY i thought her survivability rate was a minus 196%

The main character, weak as toilet paper. The quad personalty arc came too little too late to be of any interest, obviously the moment John loses his main character shield he's as good as dead.

Series spent too long at school to the point of forcefulness.. this is clearly an adventure anime forced into a stagnant setting.

Shana's short sightedness gets on my nerves, she has the kind of personality that would easily get your ass handed to you in battle.

The author clearly not making any major sacrifices, it was a plot that any slight screw up would show up in the news or at least raise the suspicions of near bystanders. Sure there is the Kekkai but there where numerous times they were caught off guard with miraculous misses.

Thats my 2 cents.

When the love arc was an exact carbon copy of zero no tsukaima lol that was terrible. I cant help but be immensely unimpressed with it.

DLTE:
There was one part when the blonde chick went apeshit and transform into the purple bear and started rampaging around the school festival in the special zone, she killed a bunch of students and the short haired girl ( a.k.a the love interest of one of the side char dudes ). Since she is a human and not a torch she should be dead already and even if she was a torch, her energy would be low to the point she fades off like the original hirai-san.

the way they dismiss that lore is kinda like how bleach is all about arrancars and super bankais now and shit instead of purifying hollows into soulsociety which is the original storyline.

SNS was super predictable to the point where you'd just /facepalm
